PARK RIDGE, Ill. (Sept. 1, 2016) – As it celebrates its 90th year, the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) announces the appointment of Mark Hanna, CLU, ChFC, to President and Regina Bedoya, CLU, ChFC, to Secretary of the organization’s Executive Committee.
Hanna, from Concord, Calif., will be the 91st President of MDRT and will succeed 28-year member Brian D. Heckert of Nashville, Ill., who will become the Immediate Past President. James Pittman, CLU, CFP, a 42-year member from Portland, Ore., will serve as First Vice President, and Ross Vanderwolf, CFP, a 29-year member from Fortitude Valley, Australia, will serve as Second Vice President.
With a focus on delivering access to innovative ideas and generating inspired growth, MDRT remains the internationally recognized standard of excellence in the life insurance and financial services industry. The 2017 Executive Committee will lead the thriving organization of more than 49,500 international members from 500 companies and 70 nations and territories for a one-year term.

As President, Hanna will work closely with the Executive Committee to maintain the association’s strict membership, professional and ethical standards, as well as provide a unique mix of networking and resources to help members broaden their expertise, grow their businesses and educate clients about the importance of financial planning.
Hanna is a 27-year MDRT member with three Court of the Table and 17 Top of the Table qualifications. Here served as 2007 Chair of Top of the Table and is a Royal Order Excalibur Knight-level donor of the MDRT Foundation and a member of its Inner Circle Society, a distinguished group of donors.
Formally accepting the nomination to become the newest member of the Executive Committee during this year’s MDRT Annual Meeting in Vancouver, Regina Bedoya of Juno Beach, Fla., is a 23-year MDRT member with seven Court of the Table qualifications and a Diamond Knight of the MDRT Foundation.
