Jan. 22--Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, a Republican candidate for president, said Thursday he does not currently have health insurance, Politico reports.
At an appearance in Manchester, N.H., Cruz reportedly told the crowd he no longer is covered because of Obamacare.
"I'll tell you, you know who one of those millions of Americans is who's lost their health care because of Obamacare?" Politico reports Cruz said. "That would be me."
Cruz said he had signed up for coverage in Texas through Blue Cross and Blue Shield, but that the provider canceled all of its individual policies in the state as the end of 2015, Politico reports.
