BRANCHVILLE, N.J. (AP) _ Selective Insurance Group Inc. (SIGI) on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $47 million.
The Branchville, New Jersey-based company said it had profit of 81 cents per share.
The insurance holding company posted revenue of $539.5 million in the period.
Selective Insurance shares have climbed 37 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $37.25, a rise of 51 percent in the last 12 months.
