Study Outlines Ways To Reduce Coastal Flood Risk

July 25-- SANTA CRUZ-- With El Niño conditions increasing the likelihood of extreme weather in California the rest of the year, a team of scientists from UC Santa Cruz and the Nature Conservancy has published a study that provides a method for the state to reduce the risk of flooding, save coastal buildings and structures, and preserve habitat.
